There are 45 mm cutouts in lower, upper, and bending beams for use in bending profiles with upturned sides. Weight balancing on bending beam ensures a perfect and effortless bending throughout the capacity range. Additional accessories: Plate stop, segmented rail, and ERGO unit. All HS models are equipped with a solid upper beam, and these models are constructed with an effective foot-operated material clamping feature. This ensures that folding tasks can be carried out quickly and safely, with both hands being free to adjust the positioning of the work- piece. The machine bed, clamping, and folding beams have 45 mm clearances in them, for when folding profiles with pre-formed sides. The folding beams are all fitted with a counter-balance for effortless operation. Optional equipment: Back gauge, segmented beam, and ERGO unit. The machines can be operated both manually for thin plates and motorized for heavy-duty items. These ERGO machines, with their ergonomic design, provide significant relief for the operator and are a good alternative to both manual and motorized folding machines due to their favorable prices. The new range of HS 4-9 ERGO and HS SUPERFLEX ERGO folders are actually manual machines, which have been up-rated to offer a very efficient motorized option via a newly developed and patented, folding beam support cylinder system.
