TECHNICAL FEATURES

In this catalogue, we are presenting our new range of HYDRAULIC GUILLOTINE SHEARS with a 100 mm gap. We have studied this series of machines to meet the requirements of the international market, and we are now introducing it into the domestic market as well.

The need for a machine with a 500 mm gap is only justified for those users who normally carry out restart cuts. With the new series of 100 mm gap shears, we have a more compact and functional machine, the main features of which are not different from those that have been characterizing our production of HYDRAULIC GUILLOTINE SHEARS for many years.

Variable rake according to the thickness and tensile stress of the sheet to be cut.
No possibility of breaking due to machine overload. In fact, if, due to a maneuvering error whatsoever, the cutting effort should be higher than expected, an opportunely preset safety valve will stop the ram.
Possibility to take away part of a metal sheet by two crosscuts, by stopping the ram in the desired position.
Wear is reduced to a minimum and is limited to the ram gibs, which are opportunely dimensioned and made of special anti-scuff material, with the possibility of adjusting the gibs to reduce friction.
Central electric equipment, electric box with safety switch. Safety guards on gap, rear, and front with fixed metal barrier.

FRAMEWORK

The framework is a hot-rolled steel construction with the metal being free from porosity and blowholes. The structure is monolithic, consisting of two shoulders interconnected by crosspieces arc-welded together. The dimensioning is sufficient for absorbing all the stresses generated by the cutting of the sheets. The whole complex is machined with boring-milling machines with a mobile column, electronic level control displays, thus ensuring the maximum working precision. The table is integral with the machine structure. The blade is mounted onto a steel blade holder fixed to the structure with the possibility of adjusting it to achieve perfect alignment with the upper blade holder. Steel bars fixed onto the structure support the sheet metal. The blade clearance is carried out on the upper blade holder with easy quick adjustment. Up to 8 mm capacity, it is carried out by hand by means of an adjusting screw. Over 8 mm, we have a power adjustment. The power adjustment can be fitted also on smaller models, on demand.

CONTROLS

The machine is either pedal-controlled or manually controlled with a pushbutton after inserting the relative change-over switch on the control panel. We have two working cycles: SINGLE and AUTOMATIC.

VARIABLE CUTTING ANGLE

This is one of the important characteristics of the oildynamic shears 1.MA.L. The possibility of increasing or reducing the cutting angle allows cutting different sheet thicknesses, resulting in the best cutting perfection and minimizing the deformation of the strips.

AUTOMATIC BLANKHOLDER PISTON FORCE ADJUSTMENT

The clamping force of the blankholder pistons is automatically adjusted according to the cutting force. This device allows perfect clamping of very thick pieces and avoids detrimental marks on soft material while ensuring the best cutting precision.

REAR REGISTER

The rear register is motorized with the readings taken on the control board with a rev recorder. Complete with a slack take-up device for reducing the play between screw and nut screw.

METAL SHEET SUPPORT

Available upon special request, designed to support thin metal sheets, enabling better cutting precision.

OILDYNAMIC UNIT

The oildynamic unit and pump motor assembly are located in the upper part of the frame, containing also the oil tank. The various oildynamic components are made by primary firms in this sector and assembled on a single panel from which also come the connecting tubes leading to the cylinder control for driving the upper blade holder.

LUBRICATION

The lubrication is centralized and controlled by a piston pump for capillary distribution to all the moving parts of the machine.
