Lisse roller leveling machines

Lisse roller leveling machines 1

Seventy years of specialisation in the manufacture af planishing machines has culminated in the development of a new range of modern machines capable of working to the most critical tolerance limits. The machines are suitable for planishing separate blanks or continuous coil material, of all types at high speed

Special equipment
Polished mirror bright rolls, steel intermediate rolls, felt coated intermediate rolls, automatic device to clean the levelling rolls, safety hydraulic jacks, counter pressure values displayed at the desk, special device for quick dismantling of the rolls, levelling machine with cassettes, automatic and semi automatic levelling devices.

Planishing steel sheets involves corrugating them by passing between cylinders arranged in a staggered manner to create waves gradually decreasing in size (pic.1). As the sheets move between the cylinders, the outer areas of the sheet faces are stretched and contracted successively, while the mean fiber remains unaffected. Local differences in length are common, resulting in edges that are longer or shorter than the center part. To address this issue, each set of lower back cylinders can be individually adjusted, causing deflection at various points along their length. This adjustment accentuates the planishing waves at specific points of deflection. Pic 2, 3, 4, and 5 illustrate some possible adjustments and the role of the back cylinders in planishing.

For special high-capacity planishers designed for plate works, shipyards, etc., the cylinder arrangement differs. The straightening of the sheet or plate at the outlet of the planishing cylinders is achieved by straightening cylinders.
