WELDING SEAM PROCESSING MACHINE
The MFL welding seam processing machíne is used by
manufacturers of large diameter pipes.
Advantages for the user:
- Fully automatic processing of the inner and outer welding seam over a length of 400 mm
- Reduction of the noise emission compared to the
grinding process
- No production of swarf
- No spark formation
- Usage of grinding pencils is needless, therefore no risk of injury
- Removal of all chips by an effective suction device
- Machine can be operated in a line or separately; individual solutions are possible
- Exact measuring of the welding seam by a scanning device
- Recording of the removed welding seam by a second scanning process
- Low tool costs by carbide tipped milling tools consisting of a base body and screwed cassettes
- Different concepts depending on the required capacity and conditions are possible
