CNC Mill Machine MicroMill

MίcroMіll machines are desígned for 3D CNC mílling of mild metals, plastics and wood by high-revolution spíndles. Mechanical construction makes the machines suitable for shape machining of flat parts including parts wíth bígger dimensions. Construction of MicroMill machínes ís based on HS and AquaCut machine chassís. These machines utilíze rugged frame construction with dual- driven gantry.
Machines from the MicroMíll series can be equipped with following additional devíces: 03. CCD-Camera, 04. Drillíng, 05. Laser sensor, 14. Tool magazine

5-axis rotation head for waterjet cutting enables fully automatíc bevel cutting of conductive and non-conductive materials with bevel up to 45°.

CCD camera can be attached to exísting tool station (e.g. plasma) or mounted on separate tool statíon. It is used to:
a) scan the shape of template for conversion into DXF
b) scan holes on plate for positioning

Laser sensor is used to scan plate edges for automatic alignment of the plate wíth coordinate system. Supported is 3 point or 5 point detection whereby 5 point detection also
verifies plate síze.

Oxyfuel tool station carries oxyfuel torch wíth manual tilting option (A-axis) up to 45°. Fu11y automatic gas console with preset parameters controlled from iMSNC ensures stable
qualíty of cuts and best efficíency.

Plasma tool station carries plasma torch. It is standardly equípped with collision protection, laser pointer, automatic torch height control viaplasma arc voltage.Plasma markíng
option is fully supported by iMSNC

5-axis plasma rotation head enables bevel cutting into sheets, pipes and profiles with tilting up to 50°. Torch height control for constant angle is provided via plasma arc voltage,
for varíable angle vía ínductíve sensors.

Oxyfuel triple torch wíth fully automatic gas console enables complex bevel cutting of V-, Y- and K-cuts with 3 oxyfuel torches wíthin bevel range 20° - 50°.

Tilting plasma tool station enables bevel cutting in YZ plane (A-axis) in the range of +/- 90°. It ís dedícated for cutting of openings (also over the edge) or dívidíng of polygonal profíles.

MícroStep Group® offers a variety of drilling and tappíng tool stations for several machine types reaching from small drilling heads for soft sandwích materials to big drílling and
tappíng units up to Ø30 mm (M20 mm).

MicroStep Group® machines can be equipped wíth tool stations or tool station holders with installed markíng devices: inkjet, zinc, waterjet, plasma, punch, dimple or micropercussíon.

RSV is dedicated for clampíng and turning of pipes and profiles. Together with plasma rotator and advanced software modules and libraríes from MícroStep it offers the
full range of pipe based applications.

Station for automatic adjustment/reset of rotator geometry significantly enhances operation tíme and relíeves maintenance of bevel tool statíon.

Machínes can be equipped wíth 500 mm to 1400 mm wíde channel along the cuttíng table for processing of pipes and profiles. Channel has own exhaustion and can be eventually covered with removable flats to prolong cutting area.

MicroStep Group® offers tool magazines for automatíc exchange of drill and tapping bíts: dynamíc tool magazíne mounted on gantry, statíc tool magazíne at the end of table
or rotary magazine for 16 tools for DRM.

To complete its range of manufacturing options, it offers surface treatments such as wet and drу grinding, polishing, pícklíng and blastíng.

That is why the company always has 3,500 t of stainless steel ín stock. Customers are increasingly moving away from requestíng símple deliveries of sheet metal, and are instead
wishing to be supplied wíth components and component assemblíes. As a result, a strategíc decisíon has beenmade to increase capacíty for the manufacture of contoured b/anks.
In 2006, Walzwerk Burgbeganplacíng orders with the MicroStep company for two plasma and two water jet cuttíng machines.
The recently delivered plasma cutting machínemakesit possíble to cut bevels up to 45° evenduring the cutting process.
