The íncredíbly compact CL series takes up less than 2.5 m2 (27 ft2)* of factory floor space and ís perfect for small- diameter flanged workpíeces and chuck-work. For maximum safety and ease of operatíon, we've kept the main-unít heíght down to 1,500 mm (59.06 in.).* But don't let the compact size fool you. Thís machíne ís as tough and rígid as you would expect. Rugged construction and simple mechanisms assure automated reliabilíty for round-the-clock operations. Further, the CL seríes ísn't just a stand-alone unit. We've desígned ít for maximum flexíbílíty so you can use it wíth robot and loader systems to expand your automated manufacturíng system as the production requírement íncreases. You can't beat the cost-to-performance ratio of the Mori Seíkí CL seríes.

The CL-15 comes wíth a 12-statíon turret head, the CL-20 wíth an 8-statíon type,* and the
CL-25 wíth a 10-station type. Optíons include a cam lock type** 12-station turret head. The
CL seríes boast a very generous travel and workpiece capacity for such compact machines.

High-speed turret índexing & super fast posítioning íncrease productívity.

Hígh-speed turret indexing wíth parallel cam and electric motor is 0.6 sec. per station (CL-15, 20).* No need to worry about thermal dísplacement, and our curvíc couplíngs maintain the híghest level of repeatabílíty.
In addítion, a fast rapid traverse rate helps to reduce non-cuttíng time (X-axis: 15 m/min

The CL series makes possible a great variety of different configurations in designing a maximum-output, minimum-space automated production system.
Work stockers, reversing devices, and a full range of other support-equipment can be added freely as you build the perfect system layout for your individual space and machining requirements. Our Moděl Ms-R1 Auto Loader-Controller is designed to make sure your system runs at top efficiency
1 CL series as a stand-alone machíne
Basic layout with simplest possible system for automated production.
(Adding a reversing devíce allows 1st & 2nd process machining.)

2 sequential machíning
With two CL series and a reversing device, you can do sequentially 1st & 2nd process machining.
(TYPEs A-C, wíth two loaders, are for workpíeces with relatively short machining tímes. To reduce investment cost, TYPES D-F use a single loader.)

3 Repeat machíníng
Two CL series and a single loader are used in parallel for large lot repeat work.

4 With bar feeder
In the 1st machíning process, the bar feeder supplies the workpiece. An internal reversing devíce and a loader then feed the workpiece dírectiy into the and machining process.
