A vertícal-axis, semi-automatic machíne to perform the simuitaneous seaming of upper and lower ends of rounded, oval and polygon-shaped composite parts, e.g. motor
vehicle silencers, washing machíne drums, water heater bodies, etc.
The lower table is stationary; the motorized upper table can be adjusted vertícally by 900 mm., to suit the varíous heíghts of the workpíeces. The two spíndles rotate in perfect synchronízation by means of a mechanical drive.
Each of the two `SAP' slídes are províded with a curling and fiattening roller, and they operate runníng along a work path determined by a follower whích copíes the shape of the piece.
