FRAME: is built in high qua!ity rolled steel plates and ís abundantly
dimensioned, securing so a highly resistent and stiff assemb!ý: this feature
affords the machine to operate on the maximum capacitie, even in continuous
service, though maintaining suítable margins of safety.
SLIDES: are in forged and suitably treated material; the blades and tools
of the various working units are assembled on them. Their dimensioning,
the considerable length of the antifriction guides and the perfecl workmanship
enable to perform the most demandíng jobs without any danger of wear or
deformation. All tool holder slídes have a straightway motíon, this beíng an
ideal condition for the perfect outcome of cut, for a long duration of knives
and for the rational expIoitation of the machine power. The punch slíde can be
lowered by means of a lever to perform the centeríng operation before punching.
CONTROL DEVICES: shaft, gear and connecting rods of the machínes OMERA
are in treated and forged alloy steel.
Their manufacture is cared at the highest degree to afford a smooth and sure
running. The swift mechanisms rotate on rolled and ball bearíngs, the slow ones
on high quality bronze bearings.
OMERA ironworkers are supplíed wíth the gear and clutch group enclosed ín
oіl bath.
CLUTCHΣS: specíal attentíon has been paid to the study of these elements
(their importance being vita!), so carryíng out an assembly of sure effíciency and
long duration. The cluth is dimensioned as to bear even hígher !oads than the
maxImum ones admissib!e on the machine and to last long and to ensure
running safety. The operating time is very short, because many insertion possibilities exist for each revolution.
The clutches operation is obtained by pedal electromagnetíc controls whicht,
leaving free operator's hands, greatly facilitate his work. The clutches which
control the two operating units of the machines are independent, allowing so two operators to work simultaneously and indìpendently one from the other.
LUBRICATION: ís of the centralized pressure type wíth manually controlled pump and serves all point subject to wear. Gears are direct!y lubricated in oil bath
