All Roundo fully hydraulic Plate bendíng machines type PAS can be equipped with ROUNDO PAS CNC system.
Our unique PAS CNC system, developed and adapted to ROUNDO 4 roll Plate bending machines, can adjust and position up to twelve 12 axes. Optionally, two of these axes can be positioned simultaneously, providing an lnterpolation function for smooth transitions when bending complex shapes with multiple radio. Thanks to the integraled PID control, proportional valves and feedback through high resolution linear incremental encoders, makes it possible
move each axis with full loop back control and get a repeatability of positioning within 0.05mm. By having full PID control, the positioning is not load sensitive
which it otherwise would have been with nonnal ON OFF positioning the movement will overshoot the goal position depending on load, oil temperature etc. This accuracy of adjustment makes it possible to produce the most compex products, such as ellipses, cylinders, ares with different radil and other objects that can be produced manually only with great difficulty. The Lower Pinch Roll senses the plate automatically and start pinching the plate by slowly ramping up the pressure to the choosen pinch pressure this works both in manual as in CNC mode. The accurancy of the pinching pressure is bar.

The PAS CNC system can also operate different external functions, such as Plate feeding, Ejection of the finished object and Pressure regulation, enabling a fully Automatic production process. The unique features of the control system makes it easy to adapt to our customers different demands and special bending applications.
The RTM Roundo Teach in Mode helps the operator in recording all steps he makes automatically, leaving the operator to concentrate on the bending. Each
new axsi movement is saved automatically and the CNC is optimizing all actions. Even Interpolation can be performed in Teach In. The PAS CNC system is operated via a Heavy Duty Industrial PC, including keyboard and
a high contrast 12 TFT color screen, placed on the machine's control unit. The machine is easily controlled from the PC and the contol desk іn manual as well as CNC mode without any complicated procedures demanding previous CNC experience.
The positions of the axes and other inforrnation such as pressure, compensatlon, geometrical roll position etc. is presented comprehensibly and clearly on the monitor, which is easy to read even at a distance and slide angle. This monitor in combination with the very practical stepless analoge joystick controls, give the operator the best posibilities for running the machine both manually and in CNC mode.
