RYAZAN 16 R 25 P Engine Lathe Model 
The lathe is intended for different kinds of turning operations including taper turning and thread cutting metric, English, module and worm. Specification and machine rigidity provide the use of advanced tools during the machining of different materials. Hollow spindle ensures the installation of the second chuck on the headstock at special order. The machine with a rest type support is used for machining the pipe ends for gas and oil industry, diameter up to 90 mm independently of their length. Design features, Rigidity, vibration resistance and stable temperature of the lathe ensure high accuracy of machining. High reliability of the machine units provides long life of service and keeps the initial accuracy. Long cones are turned by simultaneously executing the carriage longitudinal feed and the feed of tool slide at the corresponding turn. The apron is equipped with autonomous drive for rapid movement of the saddle and the carriage. It provides operation per the stops with the automatic disengagement of feed with the stop contact at the moment of increasing the load on the rack gear.
High rigidity of the kinematic chain of the feed gear box assures the thread cutting of 11 or 19 without gear changing. Protective guard of the cutting zone and a chuck, electrical and mechanical interlockings guarantee safe operation of the lathe. At the customer's request, the machine can be delivered with the bed gap. It increases the swing to 630 mm and extends the technological oppotunities of the machine
