Air Liquide Welding multi-process automatic
Air Liquide Welding offers various solutions for cutting different types of steel, stainless steel, and light alloys. Combining numerous processes can provide a wide range of solutions and diversifications to meet individual needs. The cutting solutions include single or multi-torch HP plasma cutting, oxycutting, marking, plasma beveling unit, and oxycutting beveling unit. The company offers different machines for plasma cutting, such as ALPHATOME HPC OXYTOME HPC, OXYTOME PLASMATOME CYBERTOME, and OPTITOME 15, which is a one-piece plasma cutting machine piloted by digital controls. This machine is suitable for small-scale production, metalwork, and locksmithing. The has all the qualities required for plasma arc cutting, thanks to its design and the choice of techniques used in its manufacturing. The company also offers an oxycutting option with a specially adapted steel metal backing strip. The OPTITOME 15 is independent of the machine frame, removing the risk of guides and rails being put out of adjustment. Air Liquide Welding also offers the OXYTOME / PLASMATOME range that integrates all the features required to implement the plasma and/or process.
The process controls and interface for the Pilot gas control table are reinforced structures that ensure continuous adjustment of gas as required for Plasmatome Rs without the need for operator or monitoring intervention. For plates wider than 4m, a reinforced structure is used to ensure movement stability and precision.
The OXYTOME range of oxy cutting or plasma cutting machines combines the features required to implement your desired application: oxy cutting, plasma cutting, or marking processes. The OXYTOME range fitted with the HPC Digital Process controller automatically manages the flame cutting and/or plasma cutting and/or plasma marking processes.
The electric tool holder reduces operator intentions and limits the risk of perpendicularity errors with its 150mm travel. The capacitive sensor ensures tool holder automation and continuous monitoring of the cutting height. The small-diameter tilted edge capacitive sensor and igniter are retracted when starting a cut in the center of a plate and are thus protected.
The OXYTOME HPC range, range with reinforced structures provides the degree of automation required in your applications. Rational use of the NERTAJET HP plasma cutting process can be achieved by fitting it with an optional dual drive system.
With the HPC Digital Process gas control features, you are sure of continuous gas control without the need for operator monitoring. The reinforced structure RS provides automatic gas control and precise flame adjustment via a control panel for each blowtorch. Identical adjustment and operation are maintained when operating with one or more blowtorches. The exhaust-free regulation valve optimizes heating for safety and reduces heating/overheating transition time regardless of the number of blowtorches used.
The HPC Digital Process oxycutting control sets parameters, creates a customized database for new material, optimized parameter settings, possibility of using two different cutting qualities on the same workpiece, and creates jobs to memorize the cutting parameters and parameters of the workpiece.
DC power sources are used in this system. Automatic plasma power sources use electronic transistorized chopper technology and provide superior performance with the ability to react simultaneously with the cutting arc to ensure total cutting stability. The current range for the generator includes possible on request. Torches available for use with the NERTAJET include the CP150 torch, CP360 torch, and CP300/720 torch, with single or two-torch assemblies available.
Plasma beveling system:

Marking:
Five markers are available to suit your application: Powder marking, Pneumatic marking, Plasma arc marking, HF marker pen, and Felt-tip marking.
ALPHATOME DIGITAL PROCESS:
The ALPHATOME DIGITAL PROCESS is a cost-effective solution for plasma cutting of non-alloy steel, stainless steel, or light alloy plates. It provides precise cuts and is particularly recommended for thicknesses of up to 25 mm. The ALPHATOME fully exploits all the capabilities of the NERTAJET HP, including a brushless drive system, transverse and longitudinal guide system by recirculating ball bearings and slides, suitable working height, high-inertia longitudinal track, and high-performance path control by the HPC digital process.
Economic rating:
The NERTAJET HP plasma cutting process lies between the oxycutting and the laser cutting processes in terms of machine investment, range of thicknesses to be cut, and cutting quality. However, its fast cutting speeds provide the lowest operating costs cost per meter of cut material.
PO 150 tool holder HPC DIGITAL PROCESS control panel:
This tool holder has a 150 motorized travel and a torch shock protection system. It also offers visual protection, its guidance concept, and its reaction speeds adapted to NERTAJET HP plasma cutting. On the ALPHATOME range, it comes as a stand-alone unit, independent of machine movements. The control panel supports all of the machine's functional controls and can be positioned as required to suit the type of machine used.
The high and extremely high-performance plasma cutting machine offers user-friendly multitasking operation. A touch-sensitive flat LCD screen provides access to a user-friendly screen that contains the man-machine interface and main control functions, which are controlled by a Pentium processor. The D510 digital controller is perfectly suited to automated cutting applications using 50 standard shapes and the latest management modes, especially for the innovative and diversified I/O management. The D610 is also one of the key functions in thermal cutting processes, equipped with a high-performance touch-sensitive screen. This new plasma cutting machine's control concept has been specially created for easier workshop integration of modern, state-of-the-art machines that implement the latest features in plasma cutting of all electrically conductive materials, non-alloy and low-alloy steels, stainless steels, and light alloys.
The HPC Digital Process operates under Windows 2000 installed on an industrial computer. The system features the digital controller, process control, man-machine interface, a touch-sensitive screen, and a control panel for all startup and emergency stop operations. The benefits of a tool adapted to various cutting work, specially designed as an operator support, are provided by easier workshop integration, the benefits of a modern, innovative, user-friendly design, and an intuitive and interactive means of accessing all plasma and/or flame process expertise.
The HPC Digital Process system is used mainly with OXYTOME/PLASMATOME and ALPHATOME cutting machines to control and efficiently manage applications. Quality cutting requires fast and efficient control of paths and programs, plus a multitasking capability, provided by the digital control part of the HPC Digital Process. All cutting machine users will benefit from the HPC Digital Process. The purpose of this system is to store parameters, assist operators, enable use by personnel without special training, and increase the availability of installations.
OXYCUT: a range of equipment suited to all automatic and semi-automatic oxy-cutting applications. OXYCUT blowtorches and tips can operate with all types of fuel gases, including acetylene, propane, natural gas, and tetrene.
CYBERTOME E: a large-width, high-performance plasma cutting machine that is designed to meet the most stringent operating criteria. The quality of its high-inertia welded beam means that this machine can be fitted with a very wide range of options to suit a large number of applications.
The equipment can be used to work on bevels, including V, X, and K type bevels. It features a unidirectional beveling unit that can be adjusted from 0 to 45 degrees for plates up to 60mm thick. A plasma torch can also be used, and the unit can be fitted on X-TOME type machines. The machine axes can be adjusted manually using mechanical stops, or programmed by a digital controller. The angle can be adjusted manually using mechanical stops, allowing for reproducible and programmable selection of the bevel type. An option is available for the X-TOME range, featuring a variable plasma beveling unit that is entirely seno-controlled by the digital process controller, enabling a bevel angle change during a run.
This unit can work with bi-directional beveling, using a plasma torch along the machine's X or Y axes. The quarter-turn rotation is driven by the digital controller. The angle is also adjusted manually using mechanical stops.
A mechanical drill option is available, which provides one drilling unit per machine. Depending on the applications, you can drill locating holes or through-holes. The drill is either electric or pneumatic, and is positioned by an electric or pneumatic slide rail. The standard PCD is 12mm, but on option, the CYBERTOME range can be equipped with a drill capable of drilling up to 35mm PCD, or with a multi-function unit equipped with drilling, tapping, and countersinking heads.
The AZURMATIC range offers three different solutions, including an extraction table for dry cutting, a transverse duct extraction system, and a one-piece design divided into 630mm sections, with standard lengths from 3 to 12m, and standard widths of 2 and 3m. The maximum capacity is plates up to 50mm thick, with variable water level tables available for immersed cutting. Various processes, such as plasma arc cutting with non-immersed water vortex, require a cutting table with water recovery and fume extraction. This table offers both possibilities.
Finally, the OXYTOME 60 RS HPC, PLASMATOME RS 60, and ALPHATOME are high-speed ranges with operating speeds up to 22m/min. They feature reinforced structures, and are capable of parking on a track.
