Sahinler Metal was established in 1953 by Ismail and Ibrahim Sahin brothers as a family company. Initially, Sahinler Makina focused on producing textile and sewing machines, and later expanded to manufacturing belt and drill machines, power hammers, and sheet metal working machines, including rolling machines, shearing machines, and first exported machines were sent to Germany in 1979. In 1980, the company transformed into a joint stock company and concentrated on producing sheet metal working machines. The first Turkish brand that was exported to the world market was PK-40 Profile and Tube Bending Machine in 1983, followed by the 3-Roll Plate Bending Machine in 1989 and the 3-Top-Roll Hydraulic Plate Bending Machine in 1991.
