Schaudt crankgrind Grinding machine

Schaudt crankgrind crankshaft grinding machine  is a new generation machine designed for crankshaft grinding. It has a compact design with a grinding length of 650mm and a height of centers of 225mm. With twin cross slides, it ensures high productivity, and the maximum grinding wheel dimension is Ø600 x 50 mm with a speed of up to 200 m/s. The machine has a granitan bed for high thermal stability and dynamic damping. The X-axis has hydrostatic guideways with a linear motor, while the Z-axis has the proven guideway StuderGuide. The machine is equipped with in-process gauging with Marposs Fenar L for easy grinding wheel change. The machine has a user-oriented setup interface and a SIEMENS SINUMERIK 8400 s1 control system. With a machine weight of 16 tons, it has a maximum height of 2,350 mm and an installation area of 4,530 x 2,400 mm for the basic machine and 5,800 x 7,000 mm for the overall installation area, including periphery.
