Skoda IFVW 4B Milling attachment

Skoda Machine Tool and Dörries Scharmann Group offer a milling attachment, the IFVW 4B, which is suitable for heavy milling and drilling operations. The attachment can be rotated to any angle between 0 and 360 degrees and can be attached to the machine's ram face using clamping pins or bolts. The accuracy of angle setting can be checked with a nonius scale, and a special nozzle and cutting liquid distribution piping allow for easy connection to a tool cooling system. The attachment can be transported using exchange equipment 1S0 N-X, and its size and fastening system depend on the type of machine tool. The milling attachment can be turned in one plane parallel to the ram face into any position. Its technical data includes a maximum speed ratio between tool and spindle of 1:1.8, a maximum revolutions of 500 rpm, a maximum torque of 7000 Nm up to 100 rpm, and a weight of 278-316 kg.
