Technological Accessories Boring Attachment Basic Characteristics The boring and recessing attachment 1WD 500 is used for boring round holes, machining outside cylindrical and face surfaces, facing, and similar technological operations. The attachment is attached to the machine spindle by bolts and a carrier. The size of the carrier is determined by the size of the clamping taper in the spindle of the machine. A set of clamping adapters allows the attachment to be used on various types of milling and boring machines from SKODA. The face of the slide has mutually perpendicular grooves and threaded holes for clamping a tool holder from a set of tool holders by bolts in the selected position. The attachment 1WD 500 is applied for boring round holes and machining outside cylindrical and face surfaces. The radial out-travel of the boring spindle of the machine facilitates the handling of the attachment on the machine or outside the machine when being clamped, dismounted or stored. The pallet PA, which is supplied as a special accessory for this machine, is designed for transport of the pallet PA loaded with the boring attachment between the lay-down place and the working zone of the machine.
