Skoda P SUA 100 125  Multi-Operation Set-Ups for Machining of Shafts and Similar Parts

The ŠKODA Type P-SUA 100 Precis and ŠKODA Type P-SUA 125 Precis are set-ups designed for precision machining of shafts and similar parts on machine tools that are fitted with numerical control. These set-ups allow for multiple operations to be performed with a single clamping, including turning, copying, turning of threads, turning of slow tapers, milling (transverse and longitudinal), drilling (axial, extra-axial, and cross), grinding, and indexing of the position of the workpiece.

The fundamental parts of these set-ups are the Type SUA 100 Precis and SUA 125 Precis lathes, which are manufactured for maximum diameters of workpieces of 1080 and 1320 mm, respectively, and for lengths of 3 to 12 meters. They are supplemented with further basic units and attachments for various purposes.

The interconnecting wiring material is comprised of the interconnecting lines between the switchboard and the terminal board of the main motor, the terminal board on the machine, the cooling equipment motor, and the swarf conveyer motor. It is supplied under the condition that the switchboard is situated in accordance with the data for the working drawing of the foundation or that its location is exactly determined by the customer. All the necessary data for all the interconnections are given in the accompanying documents of the machine, and the customer can make them himself.

Machines with greater turning lengths can be fitted with an additional carriage of the same design as the basic carriage.
