SNK SM4 stringer mill

SNK  Stringer Mill is a special-purpose machine designed specifically for machining aircraft stringers, which are airfoil reinforcements. The SM4 Stringer Mill has a size of 7,000 x 700 and can handle stringers that are 275 x 27 in dimension. It operates at speeds ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 rpm, and has a feed rate of 15 to 20 inches per minute. The Skin Mill is another special-purpose machine designed to efficiently and precisely machine aircraft skins. The 1-spindle 5-axis Skin Mill can handle skins that are 5-14 inches in dimension. There is also a 2-spindle 5-axis Skin Mill available. The machines can handle workpieces with sizes ranging from 12,000 x 2,600 to 16,000 x 5,500, and operate at speeds ranging from 30 to 10,000 rpm, with a feed rate of 40 to 4,000 inches per minute. The machines have 37 or 22 tools available for use.
