Sony H Digital height gauge

Sony H The digital height gauge has a unique mechanism designed by Sony that provides high accuracy and reliability. The height gauge includes the digital display module and power block within the slider, which greatly increases its operability compared to conventional digital height gauges. As a battery-operated device, it does not require a power supply cord, allowing the operator to read measured values up front while measuring.

Sony's rack-and-pinion mechanism ensures high precision and does not affect measuring accuracy. The Magnescale system, which is unique to Sony, is free from errors caused by mechanical elements like screws and gears. The slider's linear movement is directly detected by the Magnescale, providing highly accurate and stable measurement. The height gauge's movement is stable due to its high-precision handwheel lift-mechanism.

Both rough and fine movements of the slider can be controlled with one handwheel, and the rack-and-pinion mechanism ensures precise movement of the slider. The device also includes a hold button that allows the operator to hold the measured value on the LCD display, move the height gauge anywhere without losing the measurement value, and then depress the hold button to release the hold. The counter circuit continues operating even in hold mode.

The device is available in various sizes, including H-10306/H-2030B: 0-300mm/12, H-21006/H-10606/H-20606: 0-600 mm/24, and H-11006/H-21006: 0-1000 mm/40. It also includes an inch/metric selector switch and a DY-4 function selector switch for H-20306, 20608, and 2100B only.

Optional accessories include a LeverProbe and printer P-20, which detects the movement of the feeler and outputs a signal at the fixed point to reset or hold the display automatically. The device is compact, easy to use, and includes an electronic buzzer to confirm each operation of buttons and DY-4, as well as a clamp lever to lock the slider position.
