Stanko 2A 62 Horizontal boring drilling and milling maschine

Stanko 2A6 2A622. Horizontal Boring, Drilling, and Milling Machines STANKOIMPORT MOSCOW - USSR.

The designs of the horizontal boring, drilling, and milling machines described in this booklet incorporate all the latest advice from world machine tool engineering. V/O Stankoimport can offer useful advice on any machining process adopted by the buyer and on the modifications of horizontal borers most suitable for treating heavy components.

The machines can be used to drill, counterbore, bore and ream holes with high accuracy of their sizes, shape, and mutual arrangement, to mill surfaces and cut threads, and for facing, grooving, especially effective for heavy boring and for milling operations.

On special order, the 2A622 machine can be fitted with a detachable facing plate head with a radial slide which makes it possible to perform facing and hole boring operations.

Design features of the machines:

The design of the spindle unit with the milling and boring spindles running in precision antifriction bearings provides long-term maintenance of accuracy, higher rigidity, and vibration resistance of the machine and also increases milling efficiency of the milling spindle.

Upon the customer's request, the machines are delivered with power-actuated clamping of tools in the boring spindle.

Hydraulically-powered operated clamps of unique design ensure constant effort of movable unit clamping independent of pressure in the hydraulic system and also fixation of clamp and release positions in case of disengagement of the hydraulic system power supply.

Separate electric drives to actuate simultaneous travel of the headstock and cross motion of the table make it possible to mill to 8-angle profile without feed disengagement.

The electrical pilot wheel enables movable units of the machine to be set with high accuracy sensitivity to mm.

Automatic clamping and releasing of movable units on the ways when selecting a respective working component.

The ways of the bed and table saddle are fitted.

This is a technical document describing the features and components of milling machines. The document discusses the different types of machines available and the various controls and features they possess, such as movable unit selection buttons, milling direction selection levers, and spindle facing head rotation engaging keys.

The document also explains the design and construction of the spindle unit and the various spindle types, such as boring and milling spindles. Additionally, the text covers the various drive mechanisms of the machines and the different speeds and feeds available.

Finally, the document describes the main components of the milling machines, such as the bed, front column, headstock, table, optical reading devices, hydraulic equipment, lubricating systems, and electrical equipment. The bed is made of a box-shaped casting with longitudinal and transverse ribs, and the headstock is highly rigid and vibration-resistant, with main drive mechanisms and spindle units. The machines also incorporate electromagnetic clutches and antifriction bearings to distribute motions and maintain accuracy within mm.
