Studer RM 250  Production - Cylindrical Grinding Machine

A production cylindrical grinding machine that is proven and highly accurate. This electro-mechanically controlled machine is used for mass production. It has six automatic grinding programs for plunge and traverse grinding, with two pre-selected table speeds. The wheel head slide is carried on pre-loaded roller guides, and the infeed accuracy is within a fraction of a micron. This machine is wired to accept electronic accessories such as automatic size control and match grinding. There is a wide range of accessories available. The distance between centres is 250mm, with a height of centres of 60mm. The grinding wheel has a diameter of 250mm, with a grinding capacity of up to approximately 20mm.
