Tacchi MT BM 330 Lathe

Tacchi MT-BM 330 x 1500 is a normal center lathe with a monolithic pearlitic cast iron foundation that has undergone stabilization treatment for stress relief. The bed has induction-hardened and tangent-ground guideways with a wide surface. The headstock has gears for selecting spindle speeds made of high-quality Cr-Ni steel, which are hardened and ground on the involute. The splined shafts are mounted on precision ball-bearings and are ground on the UN1 profiles. The headstock features a brake, double electromagnetic clutch, and 4:1 protractor. The Norton box has Cr-Ni steel gears that are hardened, and splined shafts that are mounted on high-quality ball-bearings. Metric pitches, Whitworth, module pitches, and diametral pitch can be easily selected without changing the standard gears. The apron has induction-hardened gearwheels made of Cr-Ni steel, and feeds and related reversals are operated by electromagnetic clutches. The main slide has wide guideways, excellent stress stability, and slack take-up through taper gibs.
