Tibo BTA/STS Drilling machine

Tibo  BTA/STS deep hole drilling machines B500, B630, B700, B800 provide four different sizes of machines for accurate and reliable drilling of high-strength materials. The B-series includes BTA deep hole drilling machines and can be configured with a rotating workpiece, rotating tool, or both counter rotating.

The B630 and B800 machines have a drilling depth of 3 to 20 meters, a solid drilling diameter of up to 200mm, and can perform trepanning and counter boring up to 450mm. They also have a swing diameter over the bed of either 630 or 800mm. Modular cast iron machine bases with hardened steel guide ways and dual rack and pinion drives provide symmetrical thrust. Geared transmission is available for the tool and workpiece spindle stock, and digital servo drives offer infinitely adjustable spindle speeds and feed rates. A servo driven pressure head carriage provides programmable clamping forces.

On the other hand, the B500 and B700 machines have a drilling depth of 1 to 6 meters, a solid drilling diameter of up to 150mm, and can perform trepanning and counter boring up to 250mm. The machines have a heavy welded steel construction with roller guide ways and ballscrew feeds. The workpiece headstock is positioned with a lead screw, and hydraulic advance and retract of the pressure head carriage is available.
