Tos BUD100 Centre grinding machine

TOS Čelákovice, a manufacturing company from the Czech Republic, is introducing the BUD 100 MULTI, a new center grinding machine with multiple functions. This machine has a maximum workpiece diameter of 1,000 mm and can accommodate workpieces with lengths up to 15,000 mm through custom design. It also has a maximum workpiece weight of 8,000 kg in centers and 12,000 kg in steadies. The grinding wheel measures 900 x 175 mm, and the machine is controlled by a Siemens control system, SINUMERIK 840Ds1, with linear drives. The BUD 10017000 CNC MULTI is a future-oriented design that features several controlled main axes, including grinding headstock cross feed (X1), grinding headstock longitudinal feed (Z1), carrying spindle head spindle positioning (07), carrying spindle head spindle rotation (08), and grinding headstock swiveling (B1). It also has several auxiliary axes controlled, such as tailstock spindle axial feed (w1), outer wheel revolutions control (S1, S2), inner wheel revolutions control (S3, S4), and support upper/lower jaws feed (U1-U3, V1-V3). Other spindle arrangement combinations include S3L + S4 L and S1L.
