Tos machining centers PRIMA, OPTIMA, VARIA

The machining centers PRIMA, OPTIMA, VARIA represent a modular construction set, from which it is possible to create different versions of the machines. The basic modules are formed by column, table, basic headstocks with horizontal spindle axis and special headstocks with milling heads with automatic control of spindle angle position. If desired, the headstock can also be equipped with a traveling ram. Additional modules consist of mechanisms for automatic tool change, automatic pallet change, technological equipment, milling heads, etc., and different scales of machine covering. Machining centers can be controlled by Heidenhain, Sinu merikor possibly fanuc controls. Machines are equipped with siemens or possibly fanuc drives. The headstock is designed as a central core, with symmetric guide-ways running along both sides of the column. The fundamental parts of the machine structure, bed, column, are designed as a close-welded steel construction. Internal compartments of the column are filled with a special foam material, which increases the dynamic and static stability of the column. Machining centers PRIMA, OPTIMA, VARIA are supplied in standard version as a fully covered machine, which prevents the undesirable splash of coolant and spray of chips. For special situations, the customer can request reduced covers.
