Each turret is a 110-degree torsion and deflection drive protected by a powerful AC servo motor. TNA 500 and 600 are equipped with a high-pressure coolant pump with 5 bar or optionally, 12/20 bar pressure. The coolant is fed through the turret to the cutting edge. The intensive cooling process allows the use of high cutting speeds.

To ensure an increase in the life expectancy of the coolant, a separate coolant tank with a filtration unit is positioned adjacent to the machine. This can be cleaned with ease without having to remove the chip conveyor, thus increasing the machine's availability for production.

The main spindle: The main spindles are extremely rigid in design and supported in high precision, lifetime lubricated, play-free, preloaded angular contact ball bearings. On the TNA 500 machines, the spindle nose is of DIN55026 size A8, and on the TNA 600s, it is of size A11.
