Why you need 1600 Ton Pressbrake, Bending force depends on:

  • Material thickness

  • Material strength

  • Bend length

  • Die opening

When any of those go big, tonnage skyrockets.

A 1600-ton press brake is used when:

  • Plate is thick (20–60+ mm / ¾"–2½"+)

  • Material is high-strength

  • Parts are long (6–10+ meters / 20–30+ ft)

  • Tight radii or deep bends are required
