This installation was designed for the manufacture of extremely large and heavy dished heads for pressure vessels, where conventional forming equipment simply reaches its limits.

The HAEUSLER HBM-HY is designed for the production of very large vessel heads with diameters reaching approximately 7–8 metres, depending on geometry, material and forming conditions.

Material thickness capacity reaches approximately 45 mm in cold forming and up to 90 mm in hot forming.

Combined with the enormous HKP 9000/1000 hydraulic dishing press, this creates a complete heavy-duty solution for the production of large and thick dished heads.

This type of equipment is particularly suitable for demanding industries such as nuclear and power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and fertilizer production, hydrogen and ammonia projects, industrial boiler manufacturing, offshore applications and heavy pressure-vessel construction.
